On August 5th NASA launched a rocket into space on a mission to Jupiter. Jason sent us the link from work and we all watched it live. The boys LOVED it and were so excited to see a real rocket blast off! Max loved it so much that he has watched it over and over and over again many times since. He actually didn't want to stop watching it because he told me he wanted to watch it come back down. I had to explain that it wasn't going to arrive in Jupiter for another 5 years so he'd be waiting a long time! He also goes around pretending anything and everything is a rocket and does the rocket countdown himself.
