Yesterday there was an all ages open bounce session at Bounce U. Typically the weekends are reserved for birthday parties, but every once in a while a random one will pop up due to cancellations or a spot that hasn't been reserved. So, we decided to take the boys over and they had a great time. I always wonder where they get all their energy. They bounced for two hours nonstop and were sad to leave even when the session ended. They LOVED the big slides and the climbing tower. I think they spent most of their time at these two. They also did the obstacle course, boxing ring, and basketball bounce house. It was a fun time!

Kyle's 7th Birthday!
I can't believe Kyle is 7 years old! Jason took him out to breakfast at IHOP before school to start the celebration. Then he chose pizza hut for his birthday dinner. Uncle Mike came up the evening before his birthday to celebrate with us. Then we had his bowling birthday party at Bowl America on Saturday with all his friends, as well as Ma, Pa, Uncle Carey, and Aunt Casey. He had a great time bowling with all his friends. They snacked on french fries, ate pizza, and finished off with a Snivy (Pokemon character) cake that was delicious! They also each got some tokens to play a few games in the game area. It was a fun day! He got a wide variety of very cool presents . . . he has a lot of very nice, thoughtful friends. Kyle is such a smart, sweet, fun kid and we're very proud of him!

A Winter Day
We've had some crazy weather this winter . . . not much winter weather in fact. We've spent more time outside than usual. A couple weeks ago I took Max and his friend, Elliot (who I watch a couple days a week) outside to play. Kind of strange to watch two boys playing outside in the leaves in February. It was in the 60's and they had a great time - I think we spent about 3 hours outside that day playing in the sand table, kicking the soccer ball, playing golf, climbing trees, taking a walk, and playing in the leaves.

Rock Climbing
Kyle went to his best friends' Jaden and Dante's birthday party last week. It was at a place called Earth Trek and they did some rock climbing. This was a first for Kyle and he had a great time. He didn't quite make it to the top of the wall, but he tried several times harnessed in. He got a little nervous about halfway up each time and decided to make his way back down. But he did keep trying and seemed to enjoy it. He was also great at the obstacle course where they had to go over/under sticks and through hoops as they made their way across the rock wall from one side to the other. Then they enjoyed pizza and cupcakes and ran around playing cops and robbers. So many creative ideas for birthday parties these days!
