On Saturday my parents came to visit/babysit. They came bearing gifts, as always :). They got a new pool for our yard, as well as a water table. Kyle and Max had lots of fun with the new water table and we'll try out the pool soon! Jason and I got to go out to see a movie and have an early dinner. It was nice to have 5 hours all to ourselves!
Sunday we went to church and enjoyed a nice family day at home. Kyle and Max made me a card. Max has recently discovered the fun of markers and that he can actually make something happen with them on paper. It's cute to see the way his face lights up when he realizes that he did it! So, Max decorated the outside of the card and Kyle was in charge of the inside. They both did a great job! Jason and Kyle also made me a Mother's Day cake. It was delicious!
